Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Engineer located at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (required).
• Four years of experience
• Secret Security Clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or GIS tools preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing facilities engineering and sustainment activities in direct support of our U.S. Army Customer.
• Provides technical oversight in the operation, maintenance, and modernization of organizations facilities to ensure mission readiness and compliance with Army, DoD, and federal standards.
• Duties include developing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs to sustain mission-critical infrastructure; supporting the planning and execution of facility renovation, construction, and modernization projects aligned with operational requirements; and coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project scope, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved.
• Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, energy efficiency, and building code regulations; providing technical support for space utilization planning, facility layout, and workplace optimization; preparing and reviewing engineering drawings, cost estimates, and technical specifications; monitoring contractor performance and supporting quality assurance/quality control activities; and maintaining records, developing reports, and tracking requirements in support of the organizational leadership
