What you'll do:

As an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst you'll work within the bank's Second Line Of Defense (SLOD) and support the operational risk management programs such as controls testing, issue management and effective challenge. You'll focus on providing guidance, credible challenge, and effective oversight of business activities throughout the company. You'll play a critical role in helping to inform bank management and the Board of Directors of the risks inherent in its actions and decisions, enterprise impacts, and opportunities to manage risk. You'll proactively work with business unit management and stakeholders to identify and assess operational risks, ensuring adherence and oversight to regulatory, legal, corporate and/or functional requirements.
  • Support the development of GRC application for stakeholders in coordination with the GRC Team
  • Support Data Governance activities to ensure GRC system data is complete and accurate
  • Support the execution and enhancement of SLOD Enterprise and Operational Risk Programs, including Controls Testing and Issue Management.
  • Partner with business units to review existing risks and controls and facilitate controls testing for validation of effectiveness and effectively communicate any findings as a result of testing and partner to identify remediation actions to ensure future state effectiveness.
  • Review and challenge management action plans for issue creation along with validation of artifacts for closure.
  • Support the development of frameworks and standards for the first line of defense risk management requirements and act as subject matter expert for first line risk liaisons and prepare various reports by collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and summarizing source data.Support the development of GRC application for stakeholders in coordination with the GRC Team

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of related experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Finance (GL Mgmt., Public Reporting, Analysis) or similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.Entry level to intermediate knowledge with SQL and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) .
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of industry and professional experience across one or more of the three lines of defense (e.g., compliance, risk management, information technology, or audit).
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) including controls testing methodology.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
