RF Analysis Engineer, Lead

The Opportunity:

Do you enjoy contributing to a technical team, while closely working with relevant stakeholders to produce technical outputs that demonstrate the optimal path forward for a customer? This is the role of our Radio Frequency (RF) Analysis Engineer working to support the customer each day, performing RF Analyses to protect their operations around the globe. Through this role, you will get the opportunity to help ensure spectrum access to support the Navy's mission at home and abroad.

As an RF Analysis Engineer, you will bring technical leadership to a team of engineers performing RF analyses for the Navy across several frequency bands. You will be responsible for everything from validating input data, devising a methodology, and ensuring the quality of technical outputs to concisely and clearly convey results. You will also support the Lead engineer in representing the Navy's interests in technical working groups with your peers.

You Have:

• Experience conducting Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) analyses for DoD spectrum-dependent systems

• Experience managing the technical execution of a team of engineers, including performing quality assurance

• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) modeling and simulation tools for EMC and coverage prediction analyses

• Knowledge of 4G/5G RAN technologies, particularly the RF interfaces

• Ability to produce professional documentation

• Ability to clearly present technical topics in high-pressure situations, such as technical committees of peers

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Science, Technology, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages suitable to augment or enhance COTS RF simulation capabilities

• Experience utilizing Systems Tool Kit (STK), Visualyse Professional, Builder, or EDX Signal Pro

• Knowledge of Navy or other Service branch spectrum-dependent mission systems, such as those used for radionavigation and communications

• Knowledge of RF protocols and propagation models

• Knowledge of the NTIA Redbook Table of Allocations and associated regulatory framework

• Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Science, Technology, or Mathematics

Clearance:
