Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Global Account Manager to support our global engagement with Ford Motor Company, one of our most critical automotive customers. Reporting directly to the Global Sales Manager - Ford, you are responsible for driving growth, strengthening relationships, and delivering innovative automation solutions that support Ford's manufacturing transformation worldwide. You will work in a hybrid setting from our Troy, Michigan office location. 
Your Responsibilities:
 - Customer Ownership: Act as one of the primary interfaces for Ford Motor Company globally, managing relationships across engineering, purchasing, and operations.
 - Strategic Execution: Support and execute the global account strategy developed in collaboration with the Global Sales Manager - Ford, ensuring alignment with Ford's business objectives.
 - Revenue Growth: Identify and develop new business opportunities across Ford's global manufacturing sites, contributing to revenue targets and account expansion.
 - Solution Selling: Collaborate with technical teams to position automation solutions that address Ford's manufacturing challenges, including robotics, controls, and digitalization.
 - Global Coordination: Work cross-functionally with regional sales teams, product management, and service organizations to ensure consistent delivery and support across geographies.
 - Commercial Management: Assist in contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and proposal development in coordination with the Global Sales Manager.
 - Customer Advocacy: Represent Ford's voice internally, ensuring their feedback informs product development and service enhancements.
 - Market Insight: Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and Ford's strategic direction to proactively adjust account plans.
 - Technical Liaison: Serve as a technical liaison between Ford's engineering teams and Rockwell Automation's product and solution development teams. Translate customer technical requirements into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
 - Engineering Collaboration: Leverage your engineering background to facilitate technical discussions, validate solution feasibility, and ensure alignment with Ford's manufacturing standards and innovation goals.
 - Technical Solution Development: Partner with application engineers and solution architects to co-develop tailored automation solutions, ensuring technical accuracy and customer value.
 - Technology Roadmapping: Contribute to long-term technology planning with Ford by aligning Rockwell's innovation pipeline with Ford's strategic manufacturing initiatives.
 
 
The Essentials - You Will Have:
 - Bachelor's Degree or Equivelant Years of Relevant Work Experience
 - A valid driver's license.
 - A valid passport (the ability to travel internationally to customer sites).
 
 
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
 - 5+ years of experience in account management or sales within the automotive or industrial automation sectors or comparable.
 - Experience working with or selling to Ford Motor Company.
 - Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
 - Ability to travel globally up to 30%.
 - Familiarity with Ford's global manufacturing structure.
 - Knowledge of Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and sustainability initiatives.
 - Experience in managing cross-regional teams and customer engagements.
 - Engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent technical experience
 - Experience bridging commercial and technical conversations with large enterprise customers
 - Experience in technical solution development, product integration, or systems engineering in an industrial automation context
