Research Laboratory Aide

A Research Laboratory Aide is available in the lab of Dr. Zhen Chen. You will perform a variety of duties and provide assistance within the Research Department. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to washing glassware, sterilizing equipment, replenishing supplies, recordkeeping, picking up and/or delivering specimens/supplies.

Please note this role is part time.

As a successful candidate, you will:

* Collect, wash, autoclave and clean laboratory equipment and supplies such glassware, etc. in accordance with research department standards.

* Receive and distribute supplies to appropriate areas within the department.

* Ensure proper labeling and pertinent information is obtained on request forms.

* When necessary, ensure temperatures are at optimal levels for refrigerators, freezers, and various other equipment

Your qualifications should include:

* High School diploma or equivalent
