Electronics Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and Repair:

Perform basic component-level diagnostics and repairs on electronic equipment, including soldering and desoldering of through-hole and surface-mount components.

Test and Calibrate: Use standard test equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, to test electronic units, analyze results, and calibrate systems to manufacturer specifications.

Assembly and Installation: Assist with the assembly and installation of electronic systems and components based on schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs, tests, parts used, and labor hours. Write basic reports describing issues and repair solutions.

Communication: Communicate clearly with supervisors and engineers to report findings, ask questions, and provide progress updates.
