This position supports the Human Resource staff in multiple areas, with a primary emphasis on staffing, orientation/onboarding, and learning and development. This position is now through March of 2026.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:

Assists with the hiring processes, including:

  • Coordinating & attending hiring events
  • Contacting candidates to set up interviews
  • Coordinating interview schedules
  • Compiling interview packets
  • Reviewing resumes and participating on interview teams
  • Updates and maintains current position descriptions as needed

Assists with the onboarding of new hires, including:

  • Setting up new hire orientation
  • Preparing and processing new hire paperwork and files

Assists with learning and development, including:

  • Assist with managing site training records archive and retention program, including maintenance of HR hard copy employee training files
  • Support learning and development projects

Other Human Resource projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL

Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in a college program with a Human Resource emphasis.

EXPERIENCE:

Preferred: Experience working in an office environment. Experience with representing an organization at events and networking. Experience sourcing candidates is ideal but not required.

  • Above average communication skills (written and oral)
  • Service-oriented attitude
  • Strong listening skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong administrative/ organizational skills
