Job Summary

At SuperATV we are working to WOW our customers with innovative, race-tested products and world-class customer service. Currently, we have an opportunity to add a commodity manager to our sourcing team. This important role will help continue SuperATV's growth by evaluating, selecting, and developing new suppliers both overseas and domestically. This role includes limited international travel and limited off-hours communication with suppliers.

Primary Duties

  • Develop quality relationships with current suppliers, while proactively developing new suppliers.
  • Lead supplier identification, evaluation and negotiation for R&D and new products, including leading their category strategy.
  • Successfully negotiate terms of supply agreements with suppliers to ensure acceptance of terms and conditions of purchase including compliance with international and domestic regulations.
  • Communicate with suppliers on performance improvements, cost reductions and maintenance of best-in-class quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, New Product Development, Engineering, Quality and Purchasing in managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
  • Maintain continuous in-depth knowledge of market conditions, industry trends and developing technologies related to key commodities.
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% to evaluate and develop suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to solve problems, be resourceful, and adapt to an ever-changing business environment.
  • This position will manage multiple projects simultaneously and reports out to the team via phone, Teams, Zoom, and other communication channels.
  • Candidates must have excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Work permit sponsorship is not available for this role.

Education / Experience

  • Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field or a minimum of 3years' experience in sourcing, procurement, project management, or engineering.
  • Ideal candidate would have experience in raw materials, component sourcing, or finished products.
