This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.
The Senior Manager of Corporate Development and M&A Integration will be responsible for the end-to-end management of M&A activities, from target identification and due diligence to deal negotiation, closing, and post-acquisition integration. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong bias for action, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute the company's M&A strategy.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend potential acquisition targets that align with strategic objectives through interaction with senior business leaders, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, investment bankers, and organic pipeline generation
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, due diligence, deal negotiation, and closing.
- Perform detailed financial modeling, valuation analyses, and synergy forecasting to support deal decisions.
- Lead cross-functional due diligence teams and ensure alignment with legal, finance, HR, operations, IT, and strategy.
- Develop and implement comprehensive integration plans to ensure smooth transition and value realization post-acquisition.
- Partnering with acquisition sponsors to define integration strategy and essential tasks unique to the needs of every transaction.
- Lead integration teams to align processes, systems, and cultures between acquiring and acquired entities.
- Manage team through the transaction process, ensuring proper training on corporate integration processes.
- Create scorecard metrics to track integration progress as well as deal success (through synergy realization) on a quarterly basis.
- Provide strategic and best practice insights to sponsoring business teams throughout the M&A lifecycle.
- Lead with limited precedence or top-down prescriptive guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, or a related role.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with financial modeling and valuation.
- Proven experience leading M&A transactions from start to finish.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating due diligence and integration tasks.]

Desired:
- MBA from a top-tier business school
- Experience in the Aerospace, Technology, or related industries
- Led at least two small or one major acquisition integration in the last five years
Compensation Range for: WA applicants is $140,959.00-$197,342.25
