Overview

This is a hybrid role (if located in Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ) with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. Open to remote in several markets for highly qualified candidate.

The Brand and Advertising Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of advertising campaigns and brand projects that build awareness, increase brand reputation and drive business growth across the enterprise, ensuring brand consistency across all our communications. As a member of the brand and advertising team, this role will collaborate regularly with various teams across the marketing organization as well as our advertising agency to implement strategic programs targeting client acquisition and retention, revenue growth, and referred business. From campaign measurement to brand governance, the brand and advertising manager will play a key role in making sure our brand shows up in a cohesive and impactful way.


Responsibilities

  • Advertising and brand projects: Serve as a project manager and advertising agency point of contact for advertising campaigns, including trafficking of creative. Keep key constituents in the loop on schedules, approvals and feedback deadlines, setting up relevant meetings/reviews and disseminating meeting notes after the fact, etc.
  • Brand Management Governance: Assist with IP management including validation of expiring trademarks and domains with corresponding business partners, documentation.for decisions and tracking of cost savings of IP management over time. Special projects as needed.
  • Coordinate with Internal Partners: Work closely with various marketing partners like strategic leads, digital, communications, operations, events and creative content. Amplify communications plan around the campaign so that the Company at large is aware of the campaign (e.g., activating updates on internal channels.) Effectively manages the expectations of all audiences throughout Bank-sponsored communications.
  • Campaign Measurement and Optimization: In partnership with media and analytics teams, work to optimize advertising campaign with Advertising agency, keeping a keen eye on media measurement and creative performance. Provide recommendations for creative refreshes based on performance in-market. Cross-partner with internal Analytics team to deliver on campaign metrics.
  • Manage legal and compliance approvals: Ensure all materials are approved and filed within asset management system for audit purposes.
  • Financial Management: Provides support to finance lead for the Brand team by ensuring all Agency billing and internal PO management is on-time, on-target, and accurate.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience

Required Area of Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience within a marketing-driven organization

Preferred Area of Experience: Prior advertising agency experience is a plus

Preferred Area of Study: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred or equivalent experience required
