Position Title: Production
Wage: $19.50/hour Shift: 2nd or 3rd Hours: 2:45pm - 11:15pm or 10:45pm - 7:15am (Monday - Friday and Rotating Weekend - 6-Week Rotation) Join a dynamic manufacturing team where you'll operate, maintain, and optimize equipment in a high-quality production environment. This is a Production role for a company in Fredericksburg, IA. Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate production equipment, including dryers, feeders, and heat sealers - Package products into boxes or totes, ensuring correct placement and weight - Move pallets and totes using a forklift (after training by company) - Weigh, seal, inspect, and palletize packages per standard procedures - Perform scale calibration and maintain proper documentation standards - Conduct quality checks, including metal detection and foreign object inspection - Support production management by identifying process improvements - Coordinate with team members to maintain continuous workflow and efficiency - Adhere to all Safety procedures and GMPs Production Requirements: - A proven track record of several years of solid work history, please include details of your work experience on your resume - Previous production experience in production preferred - Ability to stand in one spot for 8-hour days - Repetitive lifting of 40-60 pounds and on occasion 70 pounds - Repetitive motions with shoulders and wrists - gripping, reaching, squeezing - Ability to work in hot-cold environments (50 degrees - 100 degree) weather depending on the department - Ability to work in a fast paced and repetitive work environment - Ability to effectively work, not get distracted, and pay attention to the job at hand in these working conditions - Reliable, dependable, and responsible QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
