Whatyou'll do:

As a full-time optometrist, you will focus on providing comprehensive ocular health services while also educating patients to empower them to make informed decisions about their eye care. Working alongside a dedicated team and utilizing advanced technology such as Optos and OCT, you will deliver exceptional patient care in a floater role, spending two to four days at University Optometry and Fridays at the Redwood Shores practice. Each day will consist of 8 hours of patient-facing care with 22 available slots, at least 16 of which will be dedicated to exams. This full-time role offers a generous compensation package that includes a production bonus, paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, continuing education allowance, and malpractice insurance.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions
