ABOUT THE JOB:

WillScot Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: WSC) is seeking a dynamic Associate General Counsel to join its Legal department. The Associate General Counsel, Corporate will be an experienced corporate lawyer who is comfortable overseeing contracts, general commercial matters, and general in-house legal work. This position reports to the Chief Legal Officer and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills as this is a high visibility role with frequent interaction with the executive leadership team and outside counsel. We are looking for an excellent corporate generalist.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of the Associate Corporate Counsel include but are not limited to:





    • Coordinate and oversee the Company's compliance with securities laws, including working with internal teams and outside counsel to draft and review the Company's periodic SEC.
    • Partner with internal leadership and outside counsel with respect to contracts and general legal matters.


    • Assist other legal team members and business leaders with general in-house legal matters as needed, including employment law, litigation, real estate and commercial matters.


    • Others legal duties as assigned.



Experience and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:





    • Active member in good standing of a U.S. state bar (and eligible to register in Arizona as in-house counsel)
    • 3+ years of legal experience with foundational training at a recognized law firm, preferably combined with in-house experience in a corporate legal department.


    • Expertise in securities laws, M&A, and/or financing transactions with expertise in general corporate matters.
    • Experience working with or for public companies.
    • Experience in advising on commercial transaction and drafting/reviewing related agreements.Outstanding judgment and integrity; intellectual curiosity, innovative thinking, and ability to provide practical and solution-oriented advice.
    • Mastery of communication skills and styles, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to internal and external partners.


    • A strong team player attitude, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, including senior executives, field team leaders and cross-functional peers.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, business acumen and judgment, strategic legal thinking, initiative, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality.


    • Able to pass a background check.




Compensation: Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
