The RoleDGM's Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) is a high growth area in our business that unlocks an electric distribution utility's ability to monitor, manage, control, and optimize the grid. As an ADMS Delivery Lead you will be involved in all aspects of the successful delivery of solutions to multiple customers. You will lead a team of engineers who will design, build, configure, troubleshoot, and test the deployment of our systems. You will prioritize work and manage project risks. You and your team will interact and coordinate with multiple organizations within DGM including other Engineering Teams, the DGM Project Management Office, and the DGM Software Development Organization. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will be the primary contact with our customers, regarding configuration, system questions and the first point of escalation for technical project issues. This position also gives you broad exposure to the entire DGM ADMS solution including maintenance applications, applications for locating faults, applications for managing voltage and reactive load, applications for managing outages and crews, applications for managing switch orders, and system interfaces. You will be reporting to an ADMS Delivery Manager. Your Impact
  • Identify critical path and dependent tasks to reach successful technical milestones.
  • Prioritize, develop, and monitor work assignments that drive the team toward project milestones across multiple projects.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the team when troubleshooting technical issues.
  • First escalation path for ADMS project issues - responsible for escalating if the issue cannot be resolved.
  • Lead daily standups with their team and workshops with customers.
  • Communicate project status updates to management and governance teams.
  • Identify project risks and develop and communication of mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with development to communicate issue priority and need-by dates.
  • Translate complex technical problems into clear, customer-friendly explanations.
  • Identify root causes and communicate solutions in a manner appropriate to the audience.
  • Provide key feedback to people managers about team member performance.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree preferrable in Applications Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience managing complex technical projects and demonstrated competency across project lifecycle.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Experience with electrical power system models, SCADA, and outage management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using software tools for organization, prioritization, work tracking, and coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
  • Proven work ethic, integrity, and reliability.
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work within tight timelines.
  • 5+ years of applicable engineering experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of ADMS products and their application in the industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the ADMS effort on moderate and complex deployments preferred.
The salary range for this role is $104,400.00 - $130,500.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
