Job Summary: Cubic Transportation Systems is looking for an energetic and strategic individual to lead our regional marketing efforts across all North America. Fully responsible for developing and executing the CTS NAM marketing strategy. Collaborates with NAM general managers, business development, product marketing, corporate communications, Ventures and other CTS departments to create pipeline and foster a positive image of Cubic with relevant stakeholders including industry organizations, customers, potential customers, riders, employees and partners. Role requires travel to tradeshows and other company functions, predominantly across the United States, Canada, and potentially other countries. The ideal incumbent will be creative, decisive, strategic, highly collaborative and an excellent verbal and written communicator. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction, exercising discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently develops and implements measurable and engaging demand generation strategies that support business development and partnership opportunities.
- Partners with corporate communications on media and other PR requests within the region.
- Collaborates with NAM General Managers to build and execute accounts-based marketing campaigns for strategic accounts.
- Identifies new strategic opportunities by monitoring competitive landscape and staying aware of industry developments.
- Collaborates with product marketing to develop marketing collateral and content related to building positive company reputation and brand awareness, primarily in English, understanding translations may be required.
- Plans and executes short-term and long-term integrated marketing communications goals, both for demand generation and accounts-based marketing.
- Manages tradeshows, membership and advertising budgets and ensures the most cost-effective way to achieve deliverables.
- Serves as an NAM business partner to other functions to provide marketing leadership to inform, update and influence marketing communication strategies and execution tactics to achieve the highest rate of return.
- Supports Ventures with Go-To-Market plans aligned to Growth organization initiatives and addressable market priorities.
- Structures and executes events with associations, business organizations, committees, institutions, and others that drive new business opportunities and support current customers.
- Works closely with CTS business development, strategy, product, and solutions teams to manage content creation including videos, marketing literature, interactive tools, presentations, and graphics to satisfy business needs.
- Serves as a strong ambassador at events and on organizational boards, creating impactful customer experiences and driving client acquisition, brand positioning and recognition as a thought leader.
- Supports all budget processes and analysis for all campaigns, including pre-event forecasts to post-show reconciliation, digital execution, collateral and other assets for all projects managed.
- Understands and grasps the market, technology, product portfolio, positioning and competitive landscape to help support multi-channel strategy and tactics.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Four-year college degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Communications, or related discipline plus a minimum of six years' experience. MBA degree preferred.
- Proficiency required in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Salesforce, and other marketing technology tools that enable successful completion of job-related duties.
- Must have high attention to detail and be comfortable with accelerated deadlines and last-minute assignments.
- Able to provide quick turnaround on projects and react quickly to changing priorities.
- Must be a collaborative team player with good organizational skills and excellent project implementation skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to assume personal ownership and accountability for projects, goals, and outcomes.

*Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
