GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

An Epic Project Manager leads projects for Epic and related third-party applications, including rollouts, new module implementations, upgrades, and major enhancements. This individual will work with internal Epic teams, clinical and revenue cycle users, and other stakeholders to lead projects for nephrology practices or other stakeholders using the Epic CKD product.

The individual should be self-disciplined and able to thrive in a primarily remote environment.

General Information about the Epic CKD Team:

DaVita Physicians Solutions has established a partnership with Epic, the market leader in Electronic Health Records (EHRs), with the goal of maximizing physician satisfaction and improving the quality outcomes of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients. The tools and support the team delivers are used by nephrology practices to manage CKD patient populations in promoting better outcomes and interoperability, while improving physician experience and aiding in revenue cycle practice management. DaVita Physician Solutions CKD EHR by Epic, is offered to nephrology practices that are independently owned and operated. Many of these practices are smaller than typical Epic customers and value independence while leveraging the best available industry technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope and integration management

  • Define project goals and objectives
  • Manage project scope with stakeholders
  • Oversee scoping and development of interfaces and data conversions needed for project

Timeline management

  • Develop and use project plans to ensure project goes live on time
  • Communicate milestones, status, and any timeline risks

Quality, build, and testing management

  • Plan for resource needs and allocation
  • Track completion of build across all project teams
  • Ensure a testing plan is created and followed

Communication and stakeholder management

  • Develop a project stakeholder list and communicate out project updates
  • Escalate concerns and risks to project sponsors
  • Produce status updates on a regular basis

Risk management

  • Create a risk registry with scope and impact to manage and prioritize risks
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans

Cost/budget management

  • Manage project budget
  • Assist in project related contracting needs with internal and third party teams

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Project management tools and methodology
  • Asana
  • Epic Community Connect
  • Epic tools such as Orion, Nova, and Sherlock
  • Nephrology and kidney care
  • Microsoft Office products

TRAVEL AND TIME REQUIREMENTS

Travel: Up to 25% for visits to customer practices, team meetings, conferences, and training

Nights/Weekends: Occasional nights and weekend work needed during onsite trips and to support urgent issues

The Salary Range for the role is $100,000.00-$147,000.00 per year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
