As the Sr. Director, Data Product at DaVita, you will be a key leader in defining and executing the data product strategy to drive business value and improve patient care. You will be responsible for the vision, roadmap, and development of innovative data products that leverage DaVita's rich data assets. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong leadership to guide a team of product managers and collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Vision:
    • Develop and champion a comprehensive data product strategy aligned with DaVita's overall business objectives.
    • Identify and prioritize opportunities to create new data products or enhance existing ones to meet market needs and drive revenue growth.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in data and analytics.
  • Product Roadmap and Execution:
    • Define and manage the data product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and resource availability.
    • Lead the product lifecycle from ideation and concept validation to launch and ongoing optimization.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering and data science teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Build and lead a high-performing team of data product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
    • Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
    • Set clear goals, conduct performance evaluations, and manage team resources effectively.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication:
    • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, IT, and clinical teams.
    • Communicate the data product vision, strategy, and roadmap effectively to diverse audiences.
    • Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve data products and services.
  • Data Governance and Quality:
    • Ensure data products adhere to DaVita's data governance policies and standards.
    • Work with data governance and data quality teams to maintain data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
    • Promote a culture of data literacy and responsible data usage throughout the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products.
    • Analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $177,000.00-$260,000.00 per year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour, Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
