The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is seeking a Facility Energy Technician 2 to join our Physical Plant Operations team at MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility. In this journey-level role, you will help ensure the safe and efficient operation of OYA's energy systems-including boilers, HVAC/R, and water treatment-while also training and supervising youth work crews in valuable trade skills. This is meaningful work where your technical expertise directly supports safe environments for staff and youth, while contributing to OYA's mission to protect the public, reduce crime, and provide opportunities for reformation.
