 Two years of experience involving a variety of repair and maintenance tasks to include semi-skilled trades tasksHigh school diploma or GEDMust complete a Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) background investigation to access County detention facilitiesMust possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire and have an acceptable driving record We Also Value

 Facilitate and correct all repairs associated with a specific work order, including routine and/or emergency repairsRespond to assigned service calls in person in all Maricopa County buildings, working within the system to finalize work ordersReplace air filters, drive belts, ballasts, light bulbs, light switches, wall outlets, and low-voltage motors, managing work priorities on siteOperate hand tools and power equipment necessary to perform various building maintenance and repair tasksPerform other trades activities, such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, and mechanical maintenanceOperate computers and mobile devices for time management, inventory, work assignments, and other related functionsOther job duties as assigned Working Conditions
