Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team. This role is critical in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, report development, and analytics, with a passion for solving complex business problems through data. Our team primarily uses Power BI for creating semantic models and reports, so deep expertise in Power BI is essential. Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement is highly beneficial.


Essential Duties

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions including reports and data models.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Optimize and maintain existing BI systems and processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms.
  • Perform advanced data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to best practices in BI development.
  • Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Stay current with BI tools, technologies, and industry trends.

Minimum Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing and supporting end to end BI solutions.
  • Expertise in Power BI for semantic modeling and report development.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with ETL processes and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in mentoring or leading BI teams.
