This is a part-time position (25 hours per week) which pays a contractual rate of $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Support the Warrior Bridge Program by processing donated clothing and household items for Veteran Home Starter Kits, coordinating appointments for veteran visits, maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing monthly reports on inventory and veterans served, and assisting the Program Coordinator with purchasing household items for distribution.

Primary Duties

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • Coordinate with donors to receive and process clothing and household item donations for the Warrior Bridge Program.

  • Receive and organize deliveries of Veteran Home Starter Kit items.

  • Schedule appointments in collaboration with VA case workers, nonprofit partners, and veteran service organizations to facilitate veteran access to program resources.

  • Assist the Warrior Bridge Program Coordinator with purchasing household items for Veteran Home Starter Kits.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and submit monthly reports detailing inventory levels and the number of veterans served.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s)

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

  • Prior experience in clerical or administrative support preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to become familiar with corporate specific programs and software such as Workday.

  • Excellent oral/verbal communication skills.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit. The employee may occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
