Responsible for the collection, entry, maintenance, and reporting of data for the Trauma Center as required by appropriate regulatory agencies. Utilizes analytical, cognitive, and leadership skills, the registrar shall utilize the collected trauma data for injury research, epidemiology, prevention initiatives and performance improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Obtain Certified Trauma Registrar Certification Certification through the American Trauma Society. Identifies trauma patients that meet inclusion criteria for the trauma registry from daily logs of the emergency department, operating room, and hospital admissions.
