The Opportunity:

• Analyzes, designs and develops requirements of long-term, complex software applications in accordance with overall project goals.

• Develops, modifies, and re-configures software methodologies for product line applications.

• Conducts risk analysis and assessment of complex, integrated software projects.

• Conducts systems level analysis of software to include requirements, design, testing, modifications, planning, scheduling cost, and performance.

• Receives input from technical team members and incorporates project recommendations.

• Prepares documentation and reports, and makes technical recommendations to program management and team members.

• Develops and provides input for proposal activities to include technical analysis, project requirements, performance, scheduling, and costs.

• Develops software systems performance metrics and project standards in accordance with complete project goals and commitments.

Who You Are:

• You have a BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Science or Engineering or a related field

• You have 8+ years of Python, Angular, C++/Object-oriented programming, software architecture, networking, and distributed systems, and/or UNIX/NT development

• You have 8+ years of experience in Cloud Platforms including Compute, Storage, Kubernetes, Notification systems, managed services, security, encryption, networking, orchestration, and optimization

• You have 8+ years of experience database applications and real time systems

• You have 8+ years of experience handling Big Data

• You have experience in a combination of the following: Database applications, graphic applications, real-time systems, numerical analysis, networks, modeling, simulation, systems management, expert systems and/or system tests.

• You have knowledge of software engineering concepts, principles and languages applicable to the product line supporting

• You have general knowledge of computer aided software engineering principles and systems

• You have knowledge of structure analysis techniques

• You have Information Security and Data Privacy fundamentals

• You have a good understanding of git with GitHub or similar platforms and CI/CD environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• You have Google Cloud Platform experience

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Primary Location State is Santa Clara, CA is: $162,600-$302,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
