What you'll do

The Director of Marketing Data Science is a key leader on our Growth Data Science team, responsible for driving growth by leveraging advanced analytics, experimentation, and data-driven insights to optimize our demand generation engine. In this role, you will provide deep visibility into our demand funnel, measuring and monitoring Marketing's performance in creating and converting leads. You will partner closely with Marketing, Strategy & Operations, and FP&A to maximize the impact of our demand budget and identify growth levers and operational improvements to scale the business.

You will lead a team of ~5 Data Scientists focused on shaping the company's growth through the development of predictive models, advanced analytics solutions, and robust marketing measurement frameworks.

This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director, Growth Data Science.

Responsibility

  • Partner with Marketing leadership to drive business growth through data science and advanced analytics
  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of marketing measurement frameworks, including multi-touch attribution modeling, media mix modeling, and incrementality testing
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve our demand generation engine using statistical analysis and quantitative insights
  • Design and implement A/B tests and multivariate experiments to optimize marketing campaigns and channels
  • Translate complex measurement outputs into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and business stakeholders to apply these insights in campaign planning, budget allocation, and channel optimization
  • Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting tools to provide actionable insights to stakeholders

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • 12+ years of experience in Data Science, Marketing Analytics, or related roles

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases and data warehouses

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and modeling

  • Experience with applying statistical and machine learning frameworks to go to market problems

  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience delivering business impact through data science

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics)

Preferred

  • Advanced degree (MS, PhD, or MBA) in a quantitative or technical field

  • Experience in B2B SaaS companies and a deep understanding of the commercial Marketing demand generation funnel across both self-service and sales-led routes to market

  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern data stack tools

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)


Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $193,100.00 - $286,500.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
