What You'll Do
|
Summary/Objective: The Quality Assurance Engineer II is responsible for executing test plans, documenting results, and ensuring software quality across PegaSystems, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and enterprise IT applications. This role combines hands-on manual testing with opportunities to learn and contribute to test automation efforts, supporting the team's transition toward modern QA practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong manual QA skills, curiosity about automation, and the ability to collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable and member-focused software. This position is designed for someone ready to grow into automation responsibilities while continuing to anchor quality through structured manual testing. - Execute manual testing (functional, regression, load, and user acceptance) across Pega, RPA, and other IT applications.
- Develop and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts in a reusable test library.
- Track defects through the full lifecycle; collaborate with developers and business owners to verify fixes.
- Participate in automation adoption by writing or maintaining simple automated scripts under guidance (using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Python-based frameworks).
- Assist in building out test coverage across unit, integration, and regression layers.
- Provide feedback on product quality, test results, and potential improvements.
- Support QA team members by sharing knowledge and collaborating in a learning-oriented environment.
- Document and report test execution status, issues, and risks to team leads and project stakeholders.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, standards, and efficiency within the workflow and automation team.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by manager(s).Effectively break down work into manageable tasks that can included and tracked in an agile framework methodology. Ensure assigned tasks are completed in a timely manner.

What You'll Need
|
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related software engineering field
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience with quality assurance in a technical setting
- Working knowledge of all aspects of the software development lifecycle
- Automation testing experience against Selenium C#
- Knowledge of libraries and testing frameworks
- Familiarity API testing and microservice testing patterns
- Experience in web-based application testing including cross-browser and mobile device compatibility
- Experience working in an agile based environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
