What You'll Be Doing:
* Own the Claim Process: Manage a diverse inventory of commercial claims, verifying coverage, conducting investigations, and resolving cases with precision and care. * Deliver Exceptional Service: Communicate professionally with insureds, claimants, and internal partners, providing timely updates and clear guidance throughout the claim lifecycle. * Investigate Thoroughly: Gather facts, review contracts, take statements, and collaborate with experts to determine liability and compensability. * Make Smart Decisions: Authorize disbursements within your authority, negotiate settlements, and escalate when needed. * Collaborate & Mentor: Partner with internal teams and external vendors, and support junior claim professionals through coaching and mentorship. * Drive Results: Meet quality and cycle time standards, manage expenses, and identify opportunities for subrogation, salvage, or fraud prevention. * Stay Compliant: Keep up with state and local regulations and ensure every file meets company and legal standards. What You Bring: * Solid understanding of commercial insurance products, policy language, and claims practices. * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and build trust. * Proven investigative and analytical skills with a critical thinking mindset. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. * Experience negotiating settlements and exercising sound judgment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly. * A commitment to integrity, diversity of thought, and continuous improvement. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
