Department:CON | College of NursingDepartment's Website: Summary of Job Duties:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to serve as the College of Nursing Associate Dean for Finance and Administration at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Reporting directly to the Dean of the College of Nursing, this 100% full-time position is responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of the CON, including financial performance, personnel management, and the effective oversight of physical resources. The role involves managing the CON's operating budget, foundation accounts exceeding $10 million, and grant accounts, while also providing leadership in budget development, financial management, and procurement. The Associate Dean will lead HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and staff development, and ensure compliance with UAMS policies and best practices. Additionally, the position requires oversight of physical resources such as space planning and inventory management, as well as active participation in CON committees, institutional projects, and accreditation preparation.
