Description
Summary: Management of sales representatives for the commercial/enterprise, state and local/federal government market sectors. Provide strategic sales planning with the sales team including their individual sales goals. Provide sales training; recommend hiring and termination of sales reps; assist in fiscal budget planning; and assist in the engineering of wireless data applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide monthly sales training to the sales team to continuous development of product knowledge, along with managing sales funnels and forecasts. Conduct field sales calls with individual sales reps to confirm mastery of product knowledge, customer opportunity and entire sales process from prospecting, presenting/proposing and closing. Planning of the strategic sales goals and objectives for the local market, by forecasting and managing to the Sales Rep Goals: Buy/Sell Goals, Manufacturer Rep Goals, Installation Goals, Engineering Goals, Maintenance Goals, Loading Goals and New Customer Goals. Assist individual sales representatives with developing their sales opportunities to maintain sales volume, product mix by keep current with changing trends, economic indicators and competition. Conduct one-on-one performance evaluation with sales representatives, to establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs and competition. Recuiting and performing hiring activities to replace, or to add new sales representatives, followed by orienting and training sales employees. Maintain Area Sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results. If performance is not met, recommend in terminating sales representatives that are not performing to company standards. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending industry workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. Contributes to a team effort by assisting and working at accomplishing the goals of ALL Day Wireless Systems departments including Service, Engineering, Sites/Systems, Rental, Construction etc. Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent specializing in Business Administration or Marketing and five years of sales management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software; Design software and Internet software. Other Skills and Abilities Travel through assigned territory to effectively respond to customer service needs, or address inquiries from regulatory agencies. Required to understand the functions of the Engineering department, service shops,Motorola Direct Team, Motorola ADM, Call Center, Warehouse and Support Center. |
