Overview

The Graphic Designer is responsible for executing the creative design process at TEC, as it applies to a variety of projects. The Marketing team functions as an in-house agency, providing design support for our overarching corporate brand, but also our over 30 locations and their needs. As a part of this team, you will tackle TEC's print and digital design needs that span the gamut from ads to brochures, to in-store and event signage, to assets for email marketing, web and social.

You know your way around the usual suspects - color, typography, imagery, spacing, layouts - but also around larger strategic thinking like logo and brand design. You are comfortable driving projects if necessary and are a self-starter who is driven by curiosity and finding solutions. You enjoy the collaborative nature of being on a team, as well as receiving and giving feedback with an open mind. You've got prior experience managing vendor relationships of all kinds and see vendors as valued and critical extensions of our own team. You are energized by a wide variety of projects. You're a multi-tasker, and while your right brain dominates, your left brain keeps you organized and on track without much oversight. You crave order, which manifests by being a stickler for file management.

Our project manager is a trusted teammate who helps manage vendors, project load, communications both internally and externally, and generally does the management of the day-to day for both graphic designers, allowing you to pour into the design and creativity needs of TEC. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing, while collaborating with our other resident Graphic Designer.

The right candidate must be persistent, pro-active, detail-oriented, comfortable multi-tasking and a hardworking professional able to work well in a team-oriented, "client"-focused environment. You are also an excellent communicator in written and spoken word. We enjoy a hybrid work environment as we value what in-person collaboration can do for our solutions and our team.
