About the Team:

FIS' Client Office is seeking a high-caliber, resilience-minded Global Incident Management (GIM) Specialist who enjoys making a difference in a high-growth company. This individual will thrive in a high-visibility role while driving resolution of global incidents, including man-made and natural disasters, as well as technology, cyber, and privacy incidents.

About the role:

Our individual contributor will play a key role in helping further design, build, and execute FIS' Global Incident Management program to help the company adequately prepare, mitigate, and respond to business-disrupting events in all areas of the world where we operate. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional executive presence, outstanding executive communication skills, and exemplary writing abilities. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively engage with senior leadership and stakeholders, while delivering clear and impactful written communications. The successful candidate will need to build strong relationships across all lines of business and various corporate functions (corporate communications, technology, regulatory) to help guide the effective implementation of the program in a risk-based and practical way.

  • Responsiveness: Be available, as required, to drive an incident response at the Enterprise level and partner with regional and key corporate and Line of Business functional areas as they respond to these events

What you will be doing:

  • Working with the GIM team to respond, maintain and implement the global incident management strategy and annual execution plan, as well as monitoring and tracking annual program activities to meet regulatory requirements
  • Responding to incidents, which can be after hours and weekends
  • Taking detailed notes during activation meetings and writing summaries quickly and accurately for an executive audience
  • Management of action items that arise from exercises or incidents, including tracking remediation status with owners.
  • Facilitating senior and executive management during incidents, workshops, trainings and exercises
  • Proactively work with key leaders to strengthen relationships, train stakeholders on GIM protocols, enhance connection points to ultimately boost our collective ability to escalate and activate quickly and efficiently
  • Supporting all required regulatory and internal metrics and reporting
  • Championing GIM awareness throughout the enterprise

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in crisis or incident management, not limited to technology incidents, with a focus on executive communication and writing
  • Bachelor's degree or similar level of experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in a corporate Crisis or Incident Management environment and/or, fintech industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office tools including Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Everbridge

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $101,480.00 - $170,470.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
