Job Summary

As a member of the Marketing team, the Sr Product Manager is responsible for leading the product portfolio, managing the product lifecycle, and driving new product launches for multiple medical technology products. Serving as the voice of the customer, the Sr Product Manager works closely with Sales and Engineering teams to launch new products, focusing on product messaging to customers and ensuring commercial excellence. The Sr, Product Manager also maintains existing products by prioritizing product enhancements and communicating them to Engineering, as well as updating collateral based on market needs or new marketing campaigns.

The Sr Product Manager also assists in product pricing, competitive research, and development of sales tools such as studies or whitepapers, and demonstrates leadership at tradeshow events. This role is critical in driving product adoption, market growth, and positioning Masimo as a leader in the medical technology industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Conduct in-depth research to understand customer needs, market dynamics, trends, and the competitive landscape to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities: new products, pricing strategies, partnerships, and channel expansion.
  • Develop clear, differentiated value propositions and product messaging tailored to key audiences across global markets.
  • Manage overall marketing strategy and plan for assigned portfolio.
  • Shape portfolio strategy: branding, value proposition, and core claims.
  • Oversee from concept to retirement in collaboration with R&D, Regulatory, and Clinical teams.
  • Key milestones: NPI requirements, product launch, and End-of-Life planning.
  • Work closely with R&D, engineering, sales, clinical, and regulatory teams to ensure cohesive execution across departments.
  • Partner with Downstream Marketing to manage PMRs, feedback loops, and launch readiness.
  • Lead product launch/updates by working with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Regulatory, Marketing Communications, and Technical Services.
  • Create product messaging and develop marketing campaigns that have high impact to support overall business objectives of product portfolio.
  • Develop collateral with Marketing Communications.
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to identify customer needs and pain points.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop tools, presentations, and training materials that support product education and sales efforts within various regions.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends through conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Assist in product pricing, development of sales tools, and demonstrating leadership at events.
  • Represent the product and marketing function at internal and external meetings, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Track KPIs, analyze campaign and product performance, and recommend optimizations to improve ROI and strategic impact.

    • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform positioning, messaging, and product strategy.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and Masimo's quality standards in all marketing materials and communications.
  • Manage multiple products through product lifecycle.
  • Other related project and assignments as requested.


Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • 7+ years of experience in healthcare, medical device, or related industry.
  • Experience in product management, marketing, or other technical roles.
  • Deep experience in healthcare systems sales and integration
  • Strong background in healthcare technology, information technology and networking
  • Strong organizational skills, and able to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • High proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and articulate future possibilities and trends
  • Strong writing and speaking skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Creative and results-oriented, with a focus on delivering measurable impact.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of clinical monitoring devices, computer networking and systems. Experience in clinical field.


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field required.
  • MBA or Master's degree in relevant field preferred.


Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $157,000 - $191,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 10% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Travel domestically and internationally up to 25% is necessary.
