Kamatics, a division of Kaman, has an exciting opportunity for an Inspector Trainee to join our Bloomfield, CT team on 2nd shift. Hours are 3:15 PM - 12:45 AM, this includes one hour of mandatory overtime at the end of shift for a required 45 hour week. OT pay is 1.5x the hourly rate for all hours in excess of 40 in a week. Perform basic inspection activities of product, materials, first piece inspection and in-process monitoring as assigned. Report to Value Stream Manager/Sr. Team Leader on work assignments to meet production schedules. Report to Quality Assurance Supervisor regarding quality issues. Assign tasks to inspectors to ensure that production schedules are met. Responsibilities:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Some work experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: CMM Operations and Programming
Physical Demands: Frequent mental and visual attention Occasional (15-40%) lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
