The Center to Advance the Science of Complex Care: Aging, Disability and Equity (CASCADE), which consists of cross-disciplinary faculty, fellows, and students who conduct policy and economic evaluations in the areas of long-term care, whole-person care models, and caregiver support.

Minimum Requirements:

Eligible candidates should have a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in any of the following areas by the time of the appointment: (bio)statistics, epidemiology, health services research, population health sciences, or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a strong quantitative background in aging, disability and health systems research including experience analyzing complex datasets such as Medicare/Medicaid claims data. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work independently and with an interdisciplinary research team. This candidate must be very enthusiastic about conducting research and willing to undertake multiple projects.

Position Description:

CASCADE seeks a postdoctoral associate with training and experience in aging, disability, and health systems research. Ideal candidates will have skills in econometrics and/or statistics, including health outcome and economic outcome longitudinal modeling. The postdoctoral associate will work closely with the Principal Investigators (PIs) on CASCADE research projects to support the analysis of aims and identify ancillary analyses (e.g., descriptive analyses). The postdoctoral associate will also participate in a range of research activities, including literature review, study design, statistical analysis plans, data analysis and interpretation of results, collaboration, and dissemination of findings through conferences and publications.
