Job Summary: Responsible for supporting Endeavor Health performance monitoring across the system through data collection, analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders. This role provides labor and budget insights by preparing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytical tools. Works with operational leaders to review opportunities, recommend staffing and process adjustments, and track progress toward labor expense and productivity goals. This position reports to the System Director, Labor Management & Benchmarking. What you will do:
- Assist with the development, preparation, and distribution of data and reports across the System. Collaborate with departments to ensure consistent understanding, highlight opportunities for improvement, and help maintain data integrity.
- Prepare and distribute timely labor and operational reports; meet with clinical and operational leaders to review results, discuss trends, and support identification of improvement opportunities.
- Perform analyses to support decision-making on labor topics (staffing mix, overtime, agency use, productivity drivers) and share findings with leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Build working relationships with site and service-line leaders; use benchmarking and trend data to help identify potential operational changes that improve labor performance.
- Support department leaders in planning and evaluating initiatives aimed at optimizing staffing, reducing unnecessary labor costs, and improving efficiency.
- Assist in collecting and validating supplemental data for departmental performance reviews to enable internal and external benchmarking.
- Provide support during the annual budget cycle by preparing labor-related data, reviewing staffing plans, and validating assumptions.
- Participate in review and governance processes by providing variance analysis and ad hoc modeling; assist in explaining labor variances and validating updates to reporting systems.
- Contribute to reports and presentations that summarize analyses, recommendations, and potential impacts on labor expense and performance.
- Develop working knowledge of labor management systems and analytics platforms; support system upgrades and enhancements to ensure accurate labor reporting.
- Use databases and tools to extract, validate, and analyze labor/visit data for tracking performance against key measures (hours per case, FTE utilization, overtime, agency spend, etc.).
- Prepare variance reports and work with departments, Finance, and Transformation Teams to monitor corrective actions and track results.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of dashboards and scorecards that summarize labor performance for frontline managers and leadership.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses combining financial, staffing, and patient activity data to support urgent operational questions and provide guidance on interpretation.
- Maintains a positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach when working with colleagues and leaders.
- Proactively supports customer needs by providing clear and well-structured analytical data.
- Looks for opportunities to contribute new ideas and process improvements that enhance reporting and decision-making.
- Stays current with trends and developments in analytics and healthcare labor management through ongoing learning.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Labor Management or related field

- Experience: Experience in data analytics tools (Strata and Vizient ODB preferred, but not necessary)

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel to perform complex analyses
