U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated building maintenance services company, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Building Manager for its Center City Philadelphia location. The Building Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance for an assigned building operation; Establishes and operates a central office from which the building is operated, maintained, and supported; Receives, coordinates and resolves all notices of building problems; preventive and corrective maintenance; quality control for all operational and maintenance staff; Prepares periodic reports on building operations to the Project Manager; Is the principal point of contact for building operations for the Project Manager, tenants, subcontractors, and outside agencies; Supervises Admin Assistant; provides backup for Maintenance Supervisor; continually suggested improvement in operations of her/his duties to improve performance and operational efficiencies. Hold periodic meetings with building tenant coordinators; May be assigned additional duties as required. May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and change business practices. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in management or equivalent designation within the industry with a minimum of five (5) years' experience managing operation, maintenance and support services of high-rise/commercial building complexes (500,000 SF; minimum); good communication and interpersonal skills and course work toward facility management certification from a recognized industry association; Knowledgeable of personal computers and experience with CMMS systems; Certificate in Facility Management from recognized industry association; and Certificate for OSHA 10 hour General and 8 hour HAZWOPER.
