Lubbock Managing Director 42295BR Student Counseling Center Position Description Plans and directs the overall operation of a major department (with institutional oversight) and provides leadership for staff members. Meets ORP eligibility requirements. Under executive direction, performs highly varied administrative duties involving the use of independent judgment and professional skills. Responsible for all employees assigned to area. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Required Qualifications Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. Knowledge of college counseling centers and staff. Knowledge of APA-accredited training requirements. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas. Preferred Qualifications 7 years of full-time progressive experience in college counseling. Preferred candidates will exhibit a collaborative leadership style, ability to conceptualize challenges and mobilize staff in bringing solutions to fruition; effective fiscal and human resource experience; excellent problem-solving and communication skills; and a record of accomplishment as a student advocate on a college campus.
