Torch Technologies is seeking a Budget Analyst to join a team providing ongoing budget and cost support for the Special Operations Aircraft Division. This position supports the Division Chief and Division leadership by managing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with government financial regulations.

As a Budget Analyst, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

• Interface with top management, responding to their requests for financial data and to resolve reporting and compliance issues.
• Prepare special reports and financial studies for management and alerts them to significant variances to plan.
• Coordinate, negotiate and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation.
• Process incoming MIPRs (Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests) and create templates for the Budget Office.
• Update and track active WBS listings and maintain financial spreadsheets.
• Review and update the GFEBS financial report weekly, reporting findings to the Division Chief.
• Prepare special financial reports and studies, alerting leadership to significant variances to plan.
• Perform other budget and cost-related duties as assigned. Be familiar with the Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tool (ACEIT) to support the PM's business and financial/cost accounting efforts.
• Work within a team and as financial SME to communicate important cost information with internal and external stakeholders at multiple PEO Aviation levels.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, a related field or equivalent experience
• 8 years financial analysis experience, including a thorough knowledge of DAR/FAR and other applicable government regulations.
• Active secret security clearance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify variances and propose solutions.
• Proficiency with financial systems such as GFEBS, ACEIT model and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently, interface with senior leadership, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
