Remote Surgery Coder Location: Remote (Eligible States: TX, OK, AL, MO, GA, FL) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM CST (Flexible start time: 7, 8, or 9 AM) PTO Policy: * No time off permitted during the first 90 days * Blackout dates: Last 2 days and 1st day of each month due to month-end close Required Qualifications: * Certified Professional Coder (CPC) - Required * Minimum 2 years of surgical coding experience * Experience coding surgeries directly using PMD * Ability to work with auto notes and complete documentation (no leveling required) Job Responsibilities: * Code surgical procedures accurately and efficiently * Utilize PMD to access and complete auto notes * Collaborate with team members to ensure coding quality and compliance * Maintain productivity and meet deadlines in a remote environment * Communicate effectively and escalate issues when necessary Preferred Skills: * Confidence in decision-making * Strong collaboration and communication skills * Proactive in asking questions and seeking clarity * Additional coding certifications are a plus Why This Role Is Open: This position is open due to increased demand and expansion in surgical coding operations. We are seeking a skilled coder to support our growing team and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
