Description This role is responsible for coordinating the purchase of materials, supplies, and equipment for construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Process purchase orders and requisitions for construction materials and supplies Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm availability, and negotiate pricing Track deliveries and follow up on late or missing shipments Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier information Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to forecast material needs Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices Assist in budget tracking and cost control for procurement activities Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in business or construction management preferred 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a construction or industrial setting Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Familiarity with construction materials and terminology is a plus Experience Level Intermediate Level #westpriority25 Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
