Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of ConnectiveRx is currently hiring for anHR Generalist rolefor a temporary assignment in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The HR Generalist is responsible for managing and supporting various aspects of human resources. This role involves serving as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, addressing concerns, resolving disputes, and providing guidance on company policies. The HR Generalist will lead investigations into employee complaints, support performance management processes, and collaborate with cross-functional HR teams on employee leave management (e.g., FMLA), recruitment, and compensation initiatives. 1. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: a. Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, addressing concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and professional manner. b. Advise employees and leadership on company policies, procedures, and best practices to promote positive working relationships and resolve issues before they escalate. c. Document findings, present recommendations, and collaborate with management to implement appropriate resolutions or corrective actions. d. Advise on the interpretation of company policies, employment laws, and regulations. e. Mediate conflicts between employees, or between employees and management, facilitating resolutions that are fair, consistent, and aligned with company values and culture. 2. HR Partnerships and support: a. Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team as needed during the hiring process or post-hire. This includes supporting new hires with onboarding challenges or any concerns that arise during their transition into the organization. b. Partner with the Benefits team to manage employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, short-term disability, and other job-protected leave programs. Guide employees regarding their leave rights and help facilitate the leave process. c. Support during the performance management review and merit cycle and coordinate with the compensation team as needed on special projects. 3. Documentation & Reporting: a. Maintain accurate records of investigations, employee concerns, and resolutions, per company policies and legal requirements. b. Prepare reports and provide regular updates to leaders on trends and patterns related to turnover and employee issues. 4. Employee Engagement: a. Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication and addressing employee concerns proactively. Support employee engagement initiatives to maintain morale. b. Assist in the delivery of HR training as needed. * Minimum of 3+ years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, investigations, and leave management. *Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., ADA, FMLA, Title VII, etc.). *Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). *Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts. *Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain impartial in challenging situations. * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
