Kleinschmidt has a full time opening for a Designer-Drafter in Portland, Oregon or Redmond, Washington to support the delivery of hydroelectric and fish passage projects. Our flexibility and core value of relationships allow us to offer employees the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment including working from the office and remotely. About the Position Typical duties of this position include leading the development of drawings of concrete and steel structures and general civil design on hydroelectric and fish passage projects under the direction of mid-and senior-level engineering staff. The scope and scale of projects at Kleinschmidt will engage your curiosity and facilitate professional growth. Travel may be required to gather project information and provide support throughout the project design and construction phases. Kleinschmidt focuses on practical solutions with multi-disciplinary teams for renewable energy projects, dam removals, embankment dam repairs, fish passage facilities, recreation facilities, and stream restorations.
