Summary of Job Description:

The Legal Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Workplace Legal team. This position is responsible for coordinating complex, sensitive project work, preparing presentations on behalf of legal executives, and conducting analysis as directed. The Legal Coordinator may also conduct basic paralegal work under the supervision of an attorney.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and project management support to the attorneys, including processing of invoices. Executes complex, sensitive project work, including presentations for major company events and senior leadership meetings. Set up meetings and ensuring the participants of such meetings have necessary materials. May prepare and distribute meeting notes as directed.
  • Analyzes information as the basis for presentations and reports by the Workplace Legal team and assists in putting together major presentations.
  • Organizes the Workplace filing system and client request management system to maximize efficiency and easy access to needed information.
  • Performs basic paralegal work under the supervision of an attorney, including preparation of contracts, letters, and other legal documents.
  • Performs special projects as requested by the Workplace Legal Team
  • Manages and updates the annual calendar of all legal deadlines and activities as directed by the Legal Operations Manager.Schedules onsite/offsite meetings and activities.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum one year of relevant experience
  • Preparing for paralegal certification preferred
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required training.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P1 $28-$35/ hour

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
