What will you do as the Legal Pro-Bono Coordinator?

This role is responsible for cultivating a pool of pro-bono attorneys to expand legal support for immigration to those most in need, including:

  • Collaborating with other pro-bono coordinators at law firms and the State Bar of Wisconsin to communicate available opportunities
  • In collaboration with staff, create written and video training materials to onboard pro-bono attorneys and keep them up to date.
  • Act as the point person for pro-bono attorneys by matching attorneys with clients, , providing technical support, coordinating meeting space in the office, etc.
  • Monitor pro-bono attorney progress within systems, maintaining records as to cases started, cases completed, and cases with associated waivers for certain aspects of the citizenship application.


Salary: $40,000 - $42,000

What are the requirements?

  • Associates degree required in business administration, communication, or related field; bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working with non-profits, parishes, and community organizations
  • Strong organization and time management skills; a team player with a passion for developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Proficient with Google Docs, Microsoft Office, experienced using database systems
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!
