Your role

As a Technical Training Manager in our Technical Service team, you will develop and facilitate competence development programs for the company, serving as the liaison between strategic accounts, dealers, and distributors and the technical service team. You will work with internal and external customers to determine training needs and to schedule and facilitate technical service training. You will report to the Technical Service, Training, & SHEQ Manager.


You will



  • Manage the planning, implementation, and monitoring of technical training initiatives conducted for internal and external customers.
  • Define future training needs based on your own evaluations and the expressed interest from the users.
  • Act as a lead trainer and organize additional training leveraging the expertise of other members of the technical service team
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and training customers in terms of coordinating training sessions, gathering feedback on training effectiveness, and escalating issues identified in the field to appropriate company resources.
  • Develop content and training materials in the company's learning management system and promote these on-demand, self-service learning options to end users.
  • Provide training opportunities using a "blended" approach that includes a combination of videos, e-learning, and virtual and in-person instructor-led trainings.
  • Manage training budgets, capital equipment proposals and other business proposals aimed at streamlining processes and leveraging current technologies.
  • Structure training in levels including determining prerequisites and providing certifications.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or similar gained through a combination of education and expeirence.
  • You have 5 years of experience working as a Technical Service Representative or Supervisor.
  • You have a strong technical knowledge of the products sold and serviced by the company.
  • You have the proven ability to develop and deliver effective training content
  • You have the proven ability to organize and facilitate a robust schedule of technical training.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job location

Option 2: Hybrid
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely (1 day per week) and being on-site at our facility in Rock Hill, South Carolina (4 days per week).


Extensive travel (up to 60%) is required in this position.
