Position Summary
This position contributes to the design and delivery of research projects and collaborates with researchers to develop, execute and interpret research projects. Performs complex laboratory and data collection techniques.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participation in in vivo and in vitro studies
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust quality systems, with a primary focus on GLP compliance.
  • Ensure all activities and processes comply with GLP standards, FDA, USDA, and AAALAC regulations.
  • Conduct regular GLP audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead inspections and audits by regulatory agencies and external auditors, focusing on GLP compliance, and ensure timely resolution of findings.
  • Monitor and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring their effectiveness, relevance, and strict compliance with GLP and regulatory
  • standards.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.


  • Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in science or related field required. Master's degree in science preferred.
    • A minimum of 3 years related research experience.
    • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods.
    • Proficient in specific lab research techniques.

    • Willingness to work with animals
    • Applicant must be detail oriented and able to work independently or as a team member
    • Position requires availability off regular hours and/or week-ends
