Position Title: Instructor of American Sign LanguageCompensation: 3000-9000Department: Special Education - TempStart Date: 01/05/2026About this opportunity: The Department of Special Education welcomes applications for part-time adjunct instructor positions available January 2026.Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U. S. without employer sponsorship. Instructors are needed to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in American Sign Language (ASL). Both on campus and online courses are available. Please note that applications will remain active for one year from the posting date. Therefore, if you apply for this position, you may not receive a response from the Department of Special Education until there is a need to hire an instructor to teach a specific course. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Duties and Responsibilities: Adjunct instructors will teach courses related to ASL and/or Deaf Studies. Both on-campus and online instructors will be responsible for teaching, grading, providing quality feedback on assignments, responding to students in a timely manner, and hosting weekly office hours.
