Assembler needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client in Huntsville, AL Must have an Active Secret Clearance or able to obtain Secret Clearance Job Description:* Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies. Working knowledge and use of tools used for cable manufacturing (strippers, crimpers, solder iron). Interpret engineer drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications. Candidates must have experience working with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other technicians to develop a strategy and identify any problems that could occur during assembly. Perform basic troubleshooting to find faults in signal and connectivity issues. Basic Qualifications Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED with 1 to 3 years (or more) of experience with cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly experience. Working knowledge of specialized tools and equipment used during cable assembly process. Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance. This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. Level of opportunity, including compensation, will be matched to a candidate's experience. Required Qualifications Current certification in IPC/WHMA-A-620 with Space addendum. Current certification in J-STD-001.
