Hourly Pay Range:

$19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Biofeedback Technician, Inpatient Headache Clinic

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Biofeedback Technician, Inpatient Headache Clinic
  • Location: Arlington Heights, IL.
  • Full Time:
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am - 7:30pm

What you will do:

  • Administration of biofeedback sessions, including but not limited to preparation, electrode/sensor placement, monitoring, and data recording. Education to patients on biofeedback therapy and expectations pre- and post-procedures.
  • Supports in documentation including patient history, procedural notes, flowsheets, and post-procedure technical impression reports to support clinical teams.
  • Direct assistance to the Neuropsychologist or clinician, with patient care, office functions, and in research as indicated and needed.
  • Assisting patients and family members in completion of forms, scheduling, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals.
  • Document metrics regarding patient stress level as recorded by biofeedback device for physician's review.
  • Coordinate office functions as dictated by the Neuropsychologist, Clinician, and Practice Manager/Administrative leaders.
  • Participates in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing educations.

What you will need:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, anatomy/physiology, kinesiology, biology, behavioral health or related science field, preferred
  • Certification: BLS is required.
