Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Privileged Identity Management (PIM)/Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer to join our team in McLean, VA. This outstanding opportunity enables you to ensure the security and integrity of our privileged accounts and access, playing a critical role in our overall cybersecurity posture.


Job Responsibilities

As a PIM/PAM Engineer, you will:



  • Be responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and maintenance of our PIM/PAM solutions. This includes planning for scalability and high availability.
  • Manage the lifecycle of privileged accounts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and regular reviews.
  • Ensure that all privileged access activities adhere to established security policies and compliance standards.
  • Continuously monitor privileged access sessions and conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Participate in security incident response activities related to privileged access, including investigation and resolution.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all PIM/PAM processes, configurations, and incidents. You'll also generate regular reports on privileged access activity.
  • Work closely with other IT and security teams to integrate PIM/PAM solutions with existing infrastructure. You'll also provide training and guidance to employees on best practices for privileged access.



Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles and protocols (e.g., LDAP, SAML, OAuth).



Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a team-based environment.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation and integration is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications like Security + or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and experience securing privileged access in cloud environments is a plus.

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is 135k-145k.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
