Duties, Responsibilities & Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities*: The Project Scientist in plays a critical role in leading and conducting scientific research, environmental assessments, and resource management projects. This position is responsible for designing and executing field studies, analyzing environmental data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support project goals. The Project Scientist will apply expertise in ecology, biology, or environmental science to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contribute to environmental impact reports, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders. This employee will have a strong background in natural resource management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex scientific findings to diverse audiences.
